Intex Aqua Twist with 5-megapixel rotating camera launched, priced at Rs 5,199: Specification and features

Intex has launched an affordable smartphone, called as the Aqua Twist. The smartphone is listed on the company’s website with a price tag of Rs 5,199, but there is no word on when it goes on sale. One of the smartphone’s highlights is a 5-megapixel rotating camera. In other words, this one camera can be twisted to use as either a rear or selfie camera.

Intex Aqua Twist specifications and features: The smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. Also on offer is 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
In addition to the camera, the Aqua Twist also features a 2,200mAh battery that the company claims is good enough to deliver up to 275 hours of standby time and up to 18 hours of talktime. Connectivity options include, dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and Intex has preloaded apps like Matrabhasha, OLX, Amazon, Goibibo, Freecharge, Saavn, and Hike Messenger among others. The smartphone will be available in black and white colors.
Keeping in mind the specifications of the Intex Aqua Twist, it is set to face competition from the likes of the InFocus Bingo 21 and Lava A88 to name a few.
