Meizu m3 budget smartphone launched in China for Rs 6,000


Meizu has launched another smartphone in China, the Meizu m3, just a few weeks after it released the Pro 6 and m3 note.

The Meizu m3 features a 5-inch HD (1280x720) display at 296 ppi, with a 13MP f/2.2 rear camera and a 5MP f/2.0 camera. It packs a 1.5GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6750 SoC and is available in a 2GB RAM variant with 16GB storage or 3GB variant with 32GB storage (both expandable). The phone has 4G support and a hybrid slot to accommodate either a second SIM card or a microSD card. It runs Flyme 5 on top of Android 5.1 and is powered by a 2870mAh battery.

The Meizu m3 is available in China in Gold, Grey, White, Blue, and Pink. The 2GB/16GB variant is priced at 599 yuan (Rs 6,150), while the 3GB/16GB variant costs 799 yuan (Rs 8,200). No word yet on when the device might makes its way to India.
