Gionee Pioneer P5L Smartphone Launched in India at Rs 8,499

Chinese handset maker Gionee has launched a new budget smartphone under its very own Pioneer series. Dubbed as Pioneer P5L, this device is available exclusively on Gionee online store at a price of Rs. 8,499.

Moving on to the specifications, the Pioneer P5L sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is powered by a Quad-Core processor ticking at 1.3GHz with unknown Graphic Processing Unit. Talking about the storage, this device comes with 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM with expandable option up to 128GB via microSD card slot. This dual SIM device is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box topped with Amigo UI 3.1. On the optics front, the Pioneer P5L has 8MP Autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera. On the form factor, this P5L measures 8.3mm thickness and weighs 146.9 grams. Coming to the connectivity option, the Pioneer P5L is backed by 4G LTE with VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.

The above hardware is juiced with 2300mAh battery. Also, the Gionee Pioneer P5L is available in Red, White, Black, Blue, Yellow and Golden colors.

LG announces K8 smartphone to run on Android Marshmallow

After launching K4, K7 and K10 globally last month, LG has silently unveiled a new smartphone in K series, named K8. This announcement comes ahead of MWC event which is to be held in Barcelona next week.
