A follow up to the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected next year. Fans of Samsung will be delighted to hear that the Korean giant is planning to launch 5 new flagship smartphones in 2017, on top of the one that is due for launch later this year. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 6 is August but that will be it for 2016 with users then having to wait until 2017 before the company has a bumper year in terms of releases. Xiaomi plans to launch curved-edge display smartphone in 2017

Motorola has finally revealed the first new smartphones for its 2016 line-up by announcing the fourth generation of its popular budget handset, the Moto G. The company has brought two variants to the table this year, the G4 and the G4 Plus. The name would suggest the G4 Plus being a larger device however both the handsets have a similar looking design and form factor. The Moto G4 Plus is launched at a price starting at Rs 13,499 for the 16GB variant (2GB RAM) and Rs 14,999 for the 32GB variant (3GB RAM). The third generation of smartphones under Asus' Zenfone series has been rumoured since last year. The upcoming handsets even leaked in some images, but without any extra details. The Taiwanese company too, has kept mum regarding the release of upcoming Zenfone 3 family. Not anymore, as the company has finally started teasing its announced handsets a few weeks ahead of this year's Computex Taipei conference. Asus has released a 30-second video teasing three of its smartphones, which are most likely to be a part of its Zenfone 3 line-up. According to the video, the company will be revealing the smartphones on May 30. For now, the only information revealed by the teaser is the launch date and that there will be 3 smartphones in the line-up.
